Q. What do the CoolGlide hair removal treatments feel like?
As the name implies, the coolglide handpiece cools & soothes the skin
as it glides over the treated area. When the pulse of light is delivered,
some patients experience a mild pinching sensation, although no
anesthesia is needed.
Q. How many treatments will I need ?
Most areas require 6 treatments depending on variables such as hair thickness, area treated, and your hair’s growth cycle.
Q. How long does each treatment take ?
Treatment times can be as little as 5 minutes and generally do not last
longer that 30minutes. Often subsequent treatments are shorter because
of the fact that there is less hair to treat.
Q. What happens after the treatment and are there any side effects ?
Immediately after treatment the effected area may appear red or
slightly swollen. Three to seven days after the treatment you many
experience what seems to be the regrowth of some hair. Many
of these hairs are just being shed as a result of the treatment and
are not regrowing. you can return to normal activity immediately
following treatment
